Jordan Brand makes many old-style sneakers, but some are really special. This year, they plan to release a new version of the “Seoul” Air Jordan 3 from 2018, with some new colors.
Back in 2018, Jordan Brand had designers Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo create a special Air Jordan 3 for the 1988 Olympic Games held in Seoul, South Korea. People really loved these shoes, but they were only sold in Korea at first. Later in 2020, they were sold in other parts of Asia, but only in women’s sizes. Now, it looks like Jordan is bringing back this special style with a new look, and hopefully more people can buy them.
The “Seoul 2.0” Air Jordan 3 keeps most of the original design but adds some new touches. It still has the white leather upper with royal blue color and red inner lining. But now, the elephant print parts have been changed to suede, with a lighter gray color that’s less patterned. The midsole is no longer white but has an aged yellow look, with a cement gray outsole. The first version had “Harmony and Peace” written inside the tongues in Korean, but we don’t know yet if this will be on the new shoes.
