Jordan Brand is making more everyday shoes lately, instead of just sports shoes. This summer, they will release the Session, a simple new shoe that looks like a mix between a skate shoe and a trainer.
Jordan Brand first became famous for making basketball shoes. Their main line of shoes will turn 40 years old in 2025. Over time, they started making shoes for other sports like football, baseball, and golf. They changed some of their popular shoe designs or made brand new ones for different sports. Recently, they began making casual shoes for people who aren’t athletes, like the Flight Court and Jordan 4 RM.
This week, Jordan showed off their newest casual shoe called the Session. The new shoe has many parts that can be colored in different ways, but it has a simple shape like low-top skate shoes. The black and white (called “Phantom”) versions both use mostly suede material, with some leather parts added to make them stronger. The shoe has a cupsole to feel more natural when walking and thick rubber soles to last longer.
