Every spring, Jordan Brand hosts a special basketball event for top high school players. This event travels to a different city each year. Today’s event gives us a close look at special “JB Classic” Air Jordan 3 shoes made just for the players.
The Jordan Brand Classic is happening today! This yearly event shows off the skills of the best high school basketball players in the country. The event started in 2002 when famous player Carmelo Anthony took part. This year is extra special because Anthony’s son is playing in the game! Another famous player who once participated is Zion Williamson.
This year’s JB Classic is really important. Since the event began in 2002, this 2025 showcase marks the 23rd anniversary. The number 23 is very special for anything related to Jordan! To celebrate, the event is being held in Washington DC, the same place where it all began. Jordan Brand has made special gear for the young players, including one-of-a-kind Air Jordan 3 shoes. These shoes look like the famous “White Cement” style but add University of North Carolina blue for some parts and dark navy blue at the heel with Nike Air branding. The shoes also have slightly yellow soles and special JB Classic logos on the tongues.
These special “JB Classic” Air Jordan 3s are probably only for the high school athletes in today’s event in Washington DC. They take the classic white cement look and add blue details. We hope these cool shoes might be available for everyone to buy someday!
