Last summer, we heard news that Jordan Brand might be working with Swarovski. Swarovski is a company that makes shiny crystals. They planned to put these sparkly crystals on the famous Air Jordan 1 shoe. This week, we finally got to see what the Air Jordan 1 Low looks like in the “Shadow” color style.
Sneakers covered in Swarovski crystals have become more popular in recent years. These shoes are very delicate and need special care, but they look amazing with their sparkly finish. Nike has made several crystal-covered shoes lately, including basketball shoes, the Air Max Plus, and the Converse Run Star. Now it’s Jordan Brand’s turn to shine!
We first heard about a Swarovski x Jordan shoe about a year ago, but there wasn’t much news after that. This week, SneakerGoodsMiami showed us early pictures of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG from this project. It uses the classic “Shadow” colors (black and gray) but makes them super shiny with crystals. Almost every part of the shoe is covered in jewels! The shoes also come with a special tag and fancy box.

Jordan Brand and Swarovski haven’t officially announced these shoes yet. They will likely come out sometime in Summer 2025. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG in the “Shadow” color will probably be hard to find because not many pairs will be made. They should be available from Nike and maybe some special stores. We don’t know the exact price yet, but these shoes will likely cost several hundred dollars.
